Day 1
Vancouver
After landing, transfer to your downtown Vancouver hotel. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Pacific Coast city.
Day 2
Whitehorse
Head to Vancouver Airport for your internal flight to Whitehorse. Collect your car hire. This northern city offers all the modern conveniences and amenities, as well as the historical and cultural remnants of the days of the Gold Rush.
Day 3
Watson Lake
Depart eastward along the Alaska Highway into the interior of the Yukon, passing small towns and villages. Arriving in Watson Lake, take some time to visit the ‘signpost forest’ – a collection of over 10,000 signposts donated by visitors from around the world, or the World War II historical display at the
airport.
Day 4
Carmacks
Follow the path of several rivers and long lakes, many only previously seen by the most avid traveller.
Day 5-6
Dawson City
Journeying farther northward, you embark on a day of discovery travelling through the wilderness of the Yukon heartland. Tour the historic landmarks of Dawson City and the surrounding gold fields.
Day 7
Beaver Creek
Crossing the Yukon River by ferry, drive along a picturesque route following the Top of the World.
Day 8-9
Haines Junction
Driving back on the Alaska Highway, explore the natural wonders such as the shores of Lake Kluane. Perhaps pay a visit to the St. Elias Convention Centre to see the permanent and rotating collection of art, reflecting the modern interpretations of local and recent artists.
Day 10-11
Whitehorse
Departing for Whitehorse, stop midway at the village of Champagne and Aishihik First Nations' Da Kų Cultural Centre, an interactive living museum that celebrates the history, culture and art of the Indigenous people of the area. Discover why Whitehorse has cultivated a name as the Yukon’s hub of local guided and independent sightseeing and touring activities.
Day 12
Fly Home
Return to the airport for your flight back to Vancouver. Either extend your stay or join your international flight home.
